‘Joe’ is an educational scientist, environmentalist, public presenter, film-maker and all round good egg. He has been involved in environmental actions since the 1970’s. His main concern is the demise of biodiversity in our natural systems. The current state of Earth’s climate has brought environmental actions to the fore.
Joe has his own education business which promotes environmental conservation and soft science skills in the primary school sector. He is currently on the board of the Wicklow Sudbury School.
I am 22 year old living in South Africa with background in the service industry (Sea Rescue, Medical response, Fire training). I am a creative whose talented in all forms of production and post production. I am a team player and a goal achiever.
He has been actively involved with various volunteer groups and programs, notably
volunteering during the FIFA World Cup that took place in SA during 2010 where he was
appointed as the AVLO for the CTown Stadium. He has also been involved with various
mentorships and CSR projects. Sports, the outdoors and the environment as well as music
is his passion and it is through this medium that he met DJ Tom and Shack – eventually
also linking up Robert with Thembi – a local member from Muizenberg that is also very
passionate about the environment.
His main priority is to ensure health coverage for the 1200 farmers, guarantee access to education for their children and empower women in the rural areas. Home of the last silverback gorillas, is of critical importance and must be protected by driving sustainable agricultural activities.
